In this short film, we are going look at how the impact of some pretty amazing web-based software, being used by people at home, and what affect, in turn, this is having on their expectations of the sort if IT they want to see in their workplace.
We are also going to hear from a range of IT professionals, from a variety of different backgrounds and industries, to find out what they have as their vision for a modern working environment.
We’ll be talking in more detail to IBM and IBM Business Partner - Open Logic, who believe that portals, and in particular process portals, have the necessary business credentials to deliver real results to any knowledge-based organisation that wants to improve the way it manages its people, information and business processes.
We then look to Cardiff University to see the impact a new fully-fledged ‘process portal’ based system is having on the users, and where its architects see this technology taking their organisation.
